The Weight of the World

Dear Unconditional Love — What would you have me know today?

I can feel the heaviness you feel today. Your mind and body and heart all feel heavy with burdens of the world. No one holds those burdens like you do. And no one feels like they need to be making catastrophic progress with them either.

I see that weight you hold. I know you want to help. And I want you to know the only help you need to give is to yourself. Let me and other people’s Unconditional Love worry about the wispy weights of the world that cover us all like invisible weighted blankets. Always there, always heavy. Never seen in a way that honors the true weight of it all.

I’m so sorry you feel so alone in this. I’m here with you. You don’t have to worry that you’re alone here. I know you feel my presence on your shoulder and that it doesn’t feel good enough. You’re wired that way. For more. For yourself, for everyone.

Maybe that’s why you’re asking if you can talk with me multiple times a day. You feel like you want to dive in so deeply. I want you to know I will never run out. That’s the whole thing about unconditional love. There are no conditions. You can’t tap into me too much. I won’t run out. You won’t run out. Although you might BURN out if you keep trying to do this all alone.

I know you’re looking for support in other areas of your life, from other people, other material things. I love how passionate you are about taking care of your holistic health.

But less is more babe. I am here. I cost nothing, I ask nothing. I’m just here. To be with you and be what you’re looking for out there. I’m in here.

It’s by design that you’re running around seeking what I can provide internally, externally. A society would not run without others seeking what they need somewhere besides within them.

We can be our own society together. I’ll take care of things in here so you can feel the community holding you’re looking for in the earthside community you’re a part of now. No one there, and no THING there, will ever hold us like we can hold us.

I know this feels a little like the “crazy voices in your head” to you and you’re worried you’re “crazy” or something. I also know that term bothers you so much after your cousin shared with you that she uses “cuckoo bananas” with her kids instead to protect those with mental illness who are deemed “crazy” as a bad thing or a way to brush them off. So fine, maybe this is cuckoo bananas. So what?

You think this is anymore bananas than running around exhausting yourself looking for this anyways? I just happen to be another place you’re looking. I’m so glad you found me. I’ll be here anytime you’re ready.

Did I mention I won’t run out? I’ll see you later today mmmmmk?

You think this little guy ever spends one second of his time worrying about if his awe of garbage trucks is “crazy”? Not a chance.
